The Boreham Royals CC was official founded in July 2020. Originally we started playing indoor cricket after being inspired by England’s triumph in the 2019 world Cup and growing in numbers we decided to officially form a club, achieving club status with the ECB.

We are a social, friendly and continually developing Cricket Club and welcome anyone regardless of their age, race and religious background. The only requirement to be a Boreham Royals is to be respectful of each other, be inclusive, open minded and love cricket. Our ambition as a club is to grow, improve, go higher up the league ladder and enjoy competition. We also aim to create a club and structure not just for us but also for our future stars in years to come. Boreham Royals Cricket Club prides itself on giving every player their fair share of involvement in each game. We currently have two teams playing on both Saturdays and Sundays. Our Saturday team will be playing in the T-Rippon Mid Essex league, while our Sunday team will be playing in the Warsop league.

We are currently based at the picturesque Boreham Recreation Ground, Chelmsford, which features a large playing square, large car parking area, a clubhouse, with changing room and catering facilities.
